With the launch of Exabeam Nova, an autonomous AI agent, the vendor is promising to revolutionise security operations by enabling faster incident response and significantly reducing investigation times.

Exabeam Nova represents a shift from traditional passive AI assistants to a proactive, multi-agent approach that integrates seamlessly into security workflows.

Steve Wilson

“Security teams are done babysitting chatbots that rely on analysts to do the heavy lifting,” says Steve Wilson, chief product officer at Exabeam. This new technology automatically correlates multiple attack signals, conducts investigations, and classifies threats based on behavioural context, resulting in up to an 80% increase in analyst productivity.

The need for such advancements is underscored by the growing complexity of cyber threats. Security teams often face overwhelming amounts of data and fragmented threat signals.

Exabeam Nova addresses this by cutting alert triage time in half, allowing analysts to focus on critical tasks rather than sifting through vast quantities of information. By accurately distinguishing between compromised insiders, malicious insiders, and other threats, security teams can respond more efficiently and effectively.

The implementation of Exabeam Nova on the cloud-native New-Scale Security Operations Platform signifies a major step forward for organisations aiming to bolster their cybersecurity posture.

Chris O'Malley

Chris O’Malley, CEO of Exabeam, states, “Vigilant CISOs require solutions that empower security teams to move quickly and accurately.” The introduction of this agentic AI not only enhances response times but also improves overall outcomes in threat defence.

Feedback from industry leaders echoes this sentiment. Bill Lucas, senior director of Cybersecurity at Mastronardi Produce, highlights the significant time savings and operational relief afforded by Exabeam Nova, allowing analysts to concentrate on thwarting threats rather than administrative burdens.

Grant Leonard, field CISO at Lumifi, notes that the solution meets the real needs of the industry, positioning organisations ahead of their competitors.

In addition to Exabeam Nova, further innovations include True Identity, which consolidates multiple asset IDs into unified entities, and enhancements to the LogRhythm SIEM Platform that improve visibility and data integration. These developments are essential as businesses navigate increasing threats from sophisticated attackers.

For CISOs and security leaders in Asia, embracing these technologies is crucial for building resilient security operations capable of responding to today’s dynamic cyber threats. The integration of proactive AI solutions like Exabeam Nova will not only streamline workflows but also enhance the overall effectiveness of security teams in the face of evolving challenges.
