Ping Identity has launched three identity agents on Google Cloud Marketplace, enabling employees and authorised administrators to complete common identity tasks through natural-language conversations in Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise.
The agents connect conversational requests to defined actions through Ping APIs. The company said each action remains subject to the authority, permissions and controls assigned to the authenticated user.
The PingID Device Management Agent is designed for employees. It allows signed-in users to pair a replacement phone, view registered authentication devices, rename a device, select a default device or remove an old device without opening a separate management interface.
Ping said the agent follows a least-privilege model. It holds no standing credentials and cannot independently access resources or perform operations without direction from the authenticated employee.
Two further agents target identity and help-desk administrators. The PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud Administrator Agent and PingOne Administrator Agent support tasks including password resets, multi-factor authentication management, user and access administration, session termination and user activity reviews.
For changes within an Advanced Identity Cloud implementation, Ping said only approved operators can access the relevant functions and the agent requires explicit confirmation before taking action.
“AI is becoming a new interface for work. Identity can’t remain trapped behind a separate console,” said Andre Durand, founder and chief executive of Ping Identity.
“Our new agents enable identity administration capabilities directly in Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise, putting identity into the flow of how people work, while keeping every action tied to the authority of the person behind it,” he added.
The launch reflects a wider industry effort to embed enterprise administration into conversational work environments. Instead of requiring users to move between chat interfaces, identity consoles and help-desk systems, Ping’s approach is intended to bring selected actions into a single workflow while retaining existing permissions and approval requirements.
The three agents were built for Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise using Google’s Agent Development Kit. They are available through Google Cloud Marketplace: the PingID Device Management Agent, PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud Administrator Agent and PingOne Administrator Agent.
Ping’s wider platform provides identity management and access capabilities for employees, customers and partners, with support for integrations and multiple deployment models.
The company said the new agents are intended to improve administrative efficiency without weakening identity controls. Their availability comes as organisations explore how conversational AI can support routine IT tasks while maintaining authorisation, accountability and oversight.
