Japanese real estate firm, DAIKYO, has successfully integrated the CyberArk Identity Security Platform into its operations, enhancing its privileged access management across both hybrid cloud and legacy systems. The move is part of DAIKYO's broader digital transformation strategy aimed at improving efficiency and user experience.
With a significant footprint in Japan's condominium market, DAIKYO's Information Systems Department supports over 10,000 employees across the company and its seven subsidiaries. The firm has shifted from a perimeter-based security model to a more comprehensive identity security strategy, adopting a Zero Trust framework as it increases its reliance on cloud services.
The implementation of CyberArk Privilege Cloud, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution, allows DAIKYO to enforce intelligent privilege controls and secure access to its resources. This solution facilitates the management of privileged credentials through automated rotation and session management, streamlining compliance audits while safeguarding credentials across DAIKYO's diverse environment.
Osamu Kobayashi, general manager of the Information Systems Department at DAIKYO, commented, “By automating privileged access to our servers and cloud services and streamlining our compliance audit processes, CyberArk has enabled us to substantially reduce the time taken on manual IT tasks. The increased productivity and improved incident response allow our team to better focus on our growing business operations.”
Mitsuro Kakizawa, Regional Director for Japan at CyberArk, added, “CyberArk is pleased to support DAIKYO as it embarks on its cloud-focused digital transformation journey. By enabling the highest levels of security for its privileged identities, CyberArk protects DAIKYO’s key assets against an increasingly challenging threat landscape.”
The partnership not only marks a significant step in DAIKYO's digital evolution but also exemplifies the increasing importance of identity security in modern business operations.
