Barracuda Networks has announced the launch of the BarracudaONE AI-powered cybersecurity platform, designed to enhance threat protection and operational efficiency for businesses of all sizes, especially managed service providers (MSPs) and other channel partners.
The BarracudaONE comes alongside findings from a global survey by Vanson Bourne, which revealed that 65% of IT and security professionals believe their organisations are struggling with an overwhelming number of security tools. More than half (53%) noted that these tools often lack integration, leading to fragmented environments that complicate management and security.
According to the survey, 80% of respondents stated that this lack of integration increases management time, while 81% reported higher overall costs. Furthermore, 77% acknowledged that fragmented systems hinder threat detection, and 78% faced challenges in mitigating threats.
Neal Bradbury, chief product officer at Barracuda, remarked, “This research serves as a wake-up call for organisations relying on disconnected security tools. A patchwork of solutions can create blind spots that attackers exploit. Consolidation and integration are essential for cyber resilience, which is the goal of BarracudaONE.”
BarracudaONE aims to simplify security operations by integrating Barracuda’s suite of solutions into a single platform. It offers layered threat protection managed through a central dashboard, reducing operational complexity and enhancing visibility. By consolidating key security functions, the platform alleviates administrative burdens and helps bolster overall cyber resilience.
The platform leverages advanced AI technology, developed through extensive real-world application, to deliver precise threat detection and rapid response capabilities. Central to BarracudaONE are its robust reporting features, which provide actionable insights. These reports enable security teams to assess the effectiveness of their threat detection measures and communicate the impact of their cybersecurity investments.
MSPs also recognise the strategic advantage of BarracudaONE. Tyler Bracken, Director of Network Operations at OpX Networks, noted how the platform helps demonstrate value to customers by providing clear insights into the threats being neutralised.
In summary, BarracudaONE aims to address the complexities of cybersecurity management by offering a unified platform that enhances visibility, simplifies operations, and improves threat response capabilities, ultimately supporting organisations in navigating an increasingly challenging security landscape.
