SeeMetrics launches Governance Boards, a dedicated set of cybersecurity performance boards to allow CISOs to govern more effectively. This product feature enables security leaders to manage their policies, processes, and KPIs.
Governance Boards
Three boards initially comprise Governance Boards providing different points of view on policies.
The CISO Lay of the Land Board can provide a rapid and intuitive understanding of overall system performance. It shows the current state of security operations, tracking and analysing trends against KPIs in one snapshot.
The CISO Policy Enforcement Board allows security leaders to oversee and enforce policies with metrics from security awareness and endpoint protection.
The NIST Functions Dedicated Board is an organised and systematic platform of cybersecurity management that categorises relevant information, processes, and metrics based on the corresponding function of the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Proactive cybersecurity governance
Shirley Salzman, CEO and co-founder of SeeMetrics says that the Governance Boards show the company’s commitment to proactive and strategic cybersecurity governance.
“By building these dedicated boards, we are providing CISOs with a new kind of automated oversight that previously took too much time and resources to achieve. We are taking on identifying what needs to be measured and the long, tedious process behind it. By automating it we are freeing up the CISO’s time and resources while also giving them a new layer of knowledge,” Salzman says.
